Private Client Solicitor – Leeds, Hybrid

An expanding Private Wealth team at an L500 law firm in central Leeds is seeking a STEP-qualified Private Client Solicitor with at least 6 years of experience in private client law to join the team on its journey.

This is a senior role based in Leeds, offering the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week. The team is seeking motivated, commercially minded individuals who thrive in a collaborative, yet autonomous, environment.

A significant portion of your clients will be high or ultra-high-net-worth individuals and business owners, often dealing with cross-border issues and complex, high-value estates.

You will manage a diverse caseload, including Wills, Succession Planning, Inheritance Tax, Trusts, Estate Administration and LPAs.

In addition to legal work, you will play an active role in firm-wide initiatives, strategic business development, team supervision, learning and development.

You will have:

  • Minimum 6 years' relevant experience in private wealth law, ideally with regional or national firms
  • Proven experience working with HNW/UHNW clients and managing complex matters
  • Expertise in lifetime planning, estates, IHT and probate, with experience in contentious probate cases
  • Supervisory experience with a focus on managing complex caseloads
  • STEP qualification preferred, or equivalent experience/qualifications
  • Cross-border experience is highly desirable
