I am currently looking to speak with Professional Discipline Solicitors on behalf of a Top 50 national law firm, based at its Leeds office (on a hybrid basis). This is a unique opportunity to join a top-ranked team of medical defence lawyers providing a national service to healthcare professionals.
This Regulatory Department is very diverse, offering a broad range of expert advice to organisations and healthcare professionals facing disciplinary action, criminal allegations and professional regulatory sanctions, as well as DPA requests and inquests.
The role will primarily focus on assisting the Professional Discipline Team with the management of matters relating to doctors and dentists on behalf of their medical defence organisation, and private clients. With such a diverse offering, inevitably there will be both the scope and need for lawyers to be involved in work for clients outside of their core caseload.
You will be a qualified solicitor with 3 to 15 years PQE, and as the role is varied, the firm is looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks.
