We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Quality Engineer to join our team in Bradford. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction by driving quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the APQP process, ensuring customer requirements are met and deliverables are achieved on time.
- Manage customer complaints, warranty claims, and customer feedback effectively.
- Conduct audits, monitor quality performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) and customers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive experience in Quality within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience with APQP/PPAP and quality tools (8D, 7-Steps, 5 Whys).
- Strong understanding of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant quality software.
