We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Quality Engineer to join our team in Bradford. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction by driving quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the APQP process, ensuring customer requirements are met and deliverables are achieved on time.
  • Manage customer complaints, warranty claims, and customer feedback effectively.
  • Conduct audits, monitor quality performance, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Quality within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience with APQP/PPAP and quality tools (8D, 7-Steps, 5 Whys).
  • Strong understanding of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant quality software.
