Job Title - Assistant ConveyancerSalary - £23,000 to £25,000Location - Leeds City Centre, West YorkshireContract - Full-time, PermanentWe're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity at our Leeds City Centre office for a Commercial Property Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant!This role involves supporting solicitors with a variety of commercial property matters, from file opening to completion.The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months' experience in commercial or residential property, with a focus on delivering high-quality client care. As your experience grows, so will your responsibility and range of work.Key Responsibilities:Manage cases from start to finish, following office and accounts procedures. Liaise with clients, third parties, and fee earners to handle enquiries. Provide administrative support to fee earners, solicitors, and partners. Prepare documentation and handle billing and payments. Coordinate with Accounts to issue cheques and manage disbursements. Perform filing, photocopying, and other essential admin tasks. Stay up-to-date with legal knowledge and practices. Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Assist in streamlining office procedures and perform additional duties as required.Essential Skills:Excellent client care and communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in IT and legal document preparation. Friendly and professional approach to handling enquiries.Experience:6+ months' experience in Commercial Property or Residential Property (Commercial Property preferred). Other Requirements:Flexible, proactive attitude with a can-do approach. Strong written and spoken English. Solid attendance record, or reasonable explanation for absences.
