A well-established and friendly Yorkshire law firm are recruiting for a Commercial Property Paralegal to join them in their Leeds City Centre offices to work in their busy property team. The firm has a strong standing in the Yorkshire market, with various offices across the region. This role will suit someone who is currently working in a commercial property team or someone who is working in a residential conveyancing team and who is looking to transfer over to commercial property work.

The Role

In this role you will be supporting solicitors and fee earners with a wide range of commercial property matters from file opening, through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support to other fee earners, solicitors, and partners
  • Lots of client contact with a client base of regional SMEs
  • Drafting and research
  • Obtaining and preparing file documentation
  • Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from clients and other parties

About You

  • At least 6 months experience within a Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing department
  • Previous experience of dealing with clients
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Ability to work under pressure
