Warehouse, Pick, Pack, Despatch and Transportc. £65,000pa + attractive bonus and benefitsLeedsThe role:A key member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to and deputising for the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the Warehouse, Pick, Pack, Despatch and Transport operations.A hands-on role, your key task will be to develop and implement a plan to increase overall operational capability and expertise.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Supervise pick pack despatch processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate transport logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Set, monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop staff.

Experience:

  • Proven warehouse operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of pick, pack, despatch, warehouse and transport operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
