We are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to support one of our clients in Leeds.Reporting to the warehouse and Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Team Leader will assume management and operational responsibility for teams of Warehouse OperatorsThe jobholder will manage team performance to help ensure that department targets are met. This encompasses not only picking targets but also quality assurance and other performance measures• To Ensure the Health, safety and environmental management policies are adhered to.• To assist in the implementation and maintenance of housekeeping and safe working practices within the warehouse and yard areas.• To assist in the effective picking of orders on an oldest order first basis.• To accept daily picking sheets from the Dispatch Planner and advise any potential issues.• To check with picking teams to ensure all orders required are picked in full and on time.• Check Computer system to see where any overstock trays can be used to maximise availability and OTIF• To report to Dispatch Planner when items are not available to pick.• To request items are made by changing either the mould on line or brand at finishing when the Planner is off site.• Book onto Delivery notes and 3PL portal any completed orders.• To publish a list of requirements still outstanding to be manufactured for due orders.• Arrange recycling skips to be empties on a weekly basis.• Manage the Goods Inwards process.Monday to Friday 10am/6pmFor further information, please submit your details and someone will get back to you.
