First Achieve's Engineering Division are hiring for an Engineering Manager for their client who specialise in hot water cylinders & ventilation equipment based in West Yorkshire.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in industrial boilers, heating systems, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of industrial heating and boiler systems.

Duties:

  • Manage an engineering department within a fast-moving environment
  • Develop and implement engineering systems and procedures to drive and improve operational efficiencies, productiveness and capability
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods for sheet metal & metal forming
  • Change Management of factory layouts/ production flow/ critical equipment alignment
  • Coaching, motivating and developing a team to improve colleague engagement and meet the increasing demands of a growing business
  • Managing contractors when onsite in compliance with CDM regulations
  • Contribute details for Engineering related KPI's
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements and implementing continuous improvement measures
  • Manage teams' time/ absences/ annual leave/ objectives

Experience Required:

  • Previous Industry Experience.
  • Educated to degree level in an Engineering or equivalent field of study
  • Green Belt or higher in Six Sigma
  • IOSHH Managing Safely certification
