SEN PSHE Teacher

Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire have partnered with a specialist provision based in Leeds who are looking for a SEN Teacher to join them after Easter. This role will be supporting learners with SEMH needs and will predominantly be teaching PSHE to KS3 and KS4.

Job Title Responsibilities

  • Deliver PSHE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Support learners with SEMH needs
  • Manage behaviour within your class
  • Support and advise behaviour mentors and learning support assistants
  • Support the wider school and SLT to create a positive learning environment

Job Title Requirements

  • PGCE with QTS or QTLS
  • Experience teaching within a specialist environment
  • Experience delivering PSHE to KS3/KS4
  • Excellent behaviour management
