Payroll Administrator - Leeds – up to £28,000Chase & Holland are working exclusively with a highly successful manufacturing business in Leeds who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Reporting directly to the HR & Payroll Manager, you will support the wider business. In return:

Payroll Administrator responsibilities include:
  • End to end processing of all required payroll changes, in line with the payroll timetable
  • Liaising with international partners to support the processing of international payroll
  • Add new joiners, process leavers and holiday pay, process variable pay including overtime, absence and maternity
  • Comply with statutory reporting requirements of HMRC through PAYE, maintaining compliance with HMRC legislation.
  • Process all company benefits including pensions, company cars/ allowances, life insurance etc
  • Reconcile all payroll variations and investigate any queries.
  • Prepare the month end reports for the accounts team to ensure accurate reconciliation of all financial reporting linked to payroll
  • Produce the end of year P60 and P11d as required
  • Ensure process notes are regularly reviewed and updated with any improvements or changes
  • Provide professional first point of support for payroll queries across the company
  • Provide administrative support
  • Audit the payroll & HR system to ensure data is captured consistently and both systems remain accurate and up to date
  • Involvement with a range of HR projects
The right candidate? 
  • At least 4 years’ experience in payroll end-to-end PAYE processing
  • Previous experience using payroll systems such as Miracle and Sage50
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient at using various IT packages including Microsoft Office
  • Is experienced at using Excel for reporting and data management
