An FTC based in the heart of W. Yorkshire delivering an exciting expansion project. As Project Manager will lead all aspects of delivery working as part of the wider leadership team.

Client Details

A national manufacturing and distribution business headquartered in W. Yorkshire who are investing heavily in their warehousing and distribution functions.

Description

Reporting into the Head of Operations, the Project Manager will have full responsibility for transferring several warehouse operations into one new facility. With existing third party arrangements being brought in-house and significant increases in demand, there is a 9-12 month body of work centred around operational lay out, transfer and amalgamation of systems and processes.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure service levels remain consistent, installation of equipment is on time and in budget and handover to operations is a success.

Day to day responsibility will include:

  • Leading daily project meetings
  • Liaising with a range of suppliers and third parties
  • Challenging existing plans
  • Working closely with both operational and supply chain stakeholders to ensure continuation of service levels

Profile

The Project Manager will have:

  • Strong warehouse and distribution knowledge
  • Demonstrable background in project delivery at a similar level
  • Exceptional systems and IT skill sets with an analytical approach
  • Operational experience within a commercial warehousing environment

Job Offer

This is a Fixed Term Contract for 9-12 months and will be a salaried role

Ideally, we are looking for an early February start date
