A leading multidisciplinary professional consultancy is seeking a skilled and motivated CDM Advisor to join their dynamic team. This consultancy has contributed to the success of some of the largest retail and commercial projects across the UK and Ireland. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in high-profile projects, ensuring strict adherence to CDM regulations and upholding the highest standards of health and safety.

The CDM Advisor Role

The successful CDM Advisor will be an integral part of their consultancy team, ensuring that all projects comply with the latest CDM regulations and providing expert advice on health and safety issues. You will work closely with project teams, assisting them in all aspects of design and regulatory compliance across industries such as logistics, warehousing & industrial, residential, retail and commercial.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on CDM regulations and health and safety.
  • Assisting project teams with design and regulatory matters.
  • Conducting health and safety audits and inspections.
  • Developing and managing pre-construction information.
  • Conducting design risk assessments and reviewing construction phase plans.
  • Delivering training and workshops on CDM and health and safety.

The ideal CDM Advisor will have:

  • A strong understanding of CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act.
  • A background in construction or design.
  • Extensive experience in delivering CDM Advisor services.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Consultancy experience is highly desirable.
