NextGen Teachers currently recruiting for a Pastoral and Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a Secondary School located in Leeds (LS19). The school are looking for a Pastoral and Behaviour Teaching Assistant who can support students across the Secondary age range with SEN and Social and Emotional, Mental Health needs. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 3:30pm daily. This role is a contract for a period of 12 weeks with a view of becoming permanent after this point.

The school is looking for passionate and enthusiastic candidate who has worked as a Pastoral and Behaviour Support in a Secondary school previously and who is passionate about improving wellbeing, behaviour and attendance across the school. Every day will be different in this role and you will be required to support and work with various students across KS3 & KS4.

Successful applications will have:

  • Minimum Level 3 or above qualification
  • Previous experience as a Behaviour / Pastoral support in a Secondary school
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
