Position: Teaching Assistant for Students with Complex Needs

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Leeds, supporting children and young people with complex learning needs. This full-time role will start as soon as possible and run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with complex learning needs, including those with physical needs.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to support student development.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behavior.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with or supporting students with complex learning needs.
- Background in a care environment is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education or care support are advantageous.
