Questech Recruitment are now recruiting for skilled Crane Operators! We're on the lookout for an experienced professional to join one of our clients who are a leading steel company in the UK. Crane Operator

Location:
Leeds, UK

Pay:
From 12.21 to 14.41 (DOE)
Pay rates will be reviewed and you may find you are put on a higher rate of pay depending on skill set and experience as this company work to a skill matrix.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads of raw materials and finished products, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to protect yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:
- Valid Crane Operator certification is desirable however refreshers can be provided, must have at least 2 years of experience and preference is in the steel industry however this isn't essential.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights for cover.
