Our client, a manufacturing business based in Leeds, is seeking a Production Supervisor with experience in continuous improvement and lean methodology.
The role involves managing a team of 15-20 operatives and requires 3D CAD experience, ideally with machine programming skills.
Candidates should possess an HNC/HND in an engineering discipline and have experience in the plastics industry, particularly in extrusion or injection moulding.
The successful applicant will lead continuous improvement projects and work closely with maintenance, design, and quality teams to meet production targets.
The position offers a competitive salary, and candidates should have at least a few years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.

Our client is a Leeds based Manufacturing business looking to appoint a Production Supervisor with continuous improvement / lean methodology training. The Production team is made up of 15 Operatives/Machines Operators, so having experienced managing a team of this size would bode well. The successful Production Supervisor must have 3D CAD experience and ideally have experience programming machines.

Production Supervisor - Role and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 15-20 operatives (sometimes more with the addition of agency staff at peak times) to meet KPI targets
- Manage continuous improvement projects and take the lead on individual line business improvement practices
- Liaise with maintenance, design and quality to maintain currently high OEE level and meet production targets for volume and quality
