Job Title: Production Supervisor Salary: £38,000
Working Hours: Monday – Friday days with an early finish Friday
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join a fast-paced aerospace component manufacturer to lead the Shipping Department. This role is crucial in ensuring that all final audits are conducted, and products meet customer specifications before dispatch. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 7 direct reports, including 2 Team Leaders
Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:
- Oversee final audits and ensure all kits meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with Production Managers to prioritise and dispatch products in line with sales plans
- Work closely with the Quality Team to manage parts requiring quality notifications or deviation requests
- Lead and support a team of Team Leaders and General Operatives with additional production staff during peak periods (up to 12 team members)
- Handle high-pressure situations, particularly during the end-of-month rush, ensuring smooth workflow and timely shipping
- Maintain strong attention to detail and uphold quality standards throughout the shipping process
We are looking for Production Supervisors with the following skills & experience:
- Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to handle pressure, especially during peak
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills to coordinate across departments
- Confident decision-maker with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Adaptability to learn and implement company-specific processes
