Service Care Solutions are pleased to present an exciting opportunity working in partnership with our established client to recruit an experienced Psychologist in the Leeds area. Our client run the UK's largest Female Personality Disorder service, providing specialist assessment and treatment for Adults with complex Mental Health disorders. The hospital provides Rehabilitation and Low-Secure services.

This is a full-time opportunity, available on a Permanent basis. Part-time applications may be considered. Job Purpose: Forensic Psychologist Salary: £51,000+ per annum + £250 Welcome Bonus, paid via Service Care SolutionsLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (Flexible Hours available)Contract: Full-time | 37.5 Hours (Part-time applications also considered)The post holder will work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team providing Assessment and Treatment to Female Adults with Personality Disorders amongst other complex Mental Health needs.Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for delivering psychological assessments and treatment to patients.
  • Participate in risk assessments and provide advice on risk management and reduction as required.
  • Offer supervision and teaching opportunities within your areas of expertise and engage in relevant clinical research.
  • Contribute to the assessment and formulation of treatment plans for newly referred or admitted patients, and provide psychological treatment programmes.
  • Oversee and supervise the implementation of psychological programmes, ensuring they are grounded in robust psychological theory and practice.
  • Support the ongoing monitoring and review of psychological programmes, ensuring staff have a thorough understanding of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other psychological approaches required for effective programme delivery.
  • Produce timely reports for patient reviews as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of in-service and other training programmes.
  • Maintain records essential for evaluating service needs and efficiency.
  • Undertake research and audits relevant to patient assessments, as well as the development and evaluation of interventions.
  • Provide management and clinical supervision to psychology assistants and other staff as appropriate.
