Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Employment Event/Workshop Planner to join a Charity Organisation based in Leeds. This is a temporary contract for 3 months with the view to extend.

Location: The Pinnacle Building, Leeds City Centre (with some travel to Bradford)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

The Pathways to Progress Programme is dedicated to supporting individuals facing barriers to employment, helping them move closer to job market readiness. We are seeking a dynamic and organised Event/Workshop Planner to design, organise, and execute workshops that align with employability goals while addressing broader personal and professional development needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm, design, and implement engaging workshops that align with program outcomes, with a focus on employability.

  • Topics may include but are not limited to: CV writing, interview preparation, digital skills, life skills, job searching, mental & physical health support, motivation, communication, and employer expectations.

  • Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, catering (if required), materials preparation, and promotional outreach.

  • Facilitate workshops when appropriate or identify and engage suitable vendors/service providers to run sessions.

  • Develop marketing materials such as flyers and social media posts to promote workshops.

  • Notify service users about upcoming events and encourage participation.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners to secure additional referrals and collaboration opportunities.

  • Promote the service through outreach activities and engagement events.

  • Provide input on service improvements based on workshop results and participant feedback.

  • Some caseload management may be required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in event/workshop planning, community engagement, or program coordination.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.

  • Experience working with individuals facing employment barriers
