DCT Recruitment ltd are looking for a field sales agent to work with out ever growing logistics company. They want to branch out into other cities and build a wider network. This role would be field based, required to work in their head office in Liverpool once a month to update progression etc.


Daily tasks include
Provide comments on evert phone call for each customer with the outcome of each call.
Provide any quotes to new prospective and current customers.
Follow up on every prospect and customer quote and update with feedback received.
Ensure all feedback on quotes is relayed to the operations team.
Answer every email and phone call as promptly as possible.
Assist the operations team where required with daily workload.
Assist the marketing team with targeted customer contact/branch attacks.
Management of specific customer accounts as requested by your line manager.
Deal with nay new inbound inquires to maximise chances of success.
Regular contact with client base to ensure continued spending and up-sale opportunities.
Raise clients business concerns and needs to company management.
Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients.
Delivering sales pitch to prospective clients.
Following up clients to ensure they are satisfied with the companys products or services.
Weekly tasks
Feedback on activity in weekly meetings.
Participate in bi-weekly 1-1s completed by line manager.
Conduct customer and prospect meetings where required for upsell of business or to gain potential new business.
Ensure any customer or prospect meetings are noted and uploaded to the relevant account on Courier Portal.
Participate in Networking Events where required and provide cover for Directors and GM if theyre unavailable to attend.
Quarterly task
Meet with key customers where required to ensure business continuity.
6-monhtly task
Complete performance review form for review with line manager.
Secondary duties
Partake in the Companys on-call rota and complete on call duties.
Make sure the office is kept clean and tidy when and where necessary.
In addition to your primary and secondary duties you may be required to undertake other duties and you will be required to obey all reasonable directions from time to time given by the company. The company reserves the right to vary your duties.

Hours are Monday to Friday 830am-530pm

3-5 Years experience within logistic sales essential.
B2B sales experience required.
Commission is 10% GP after £12K uncapped
