The result of this is a newly created Senior Buyer role is being recruited, reporting into the Managing Director. Senior Buyer responsibilities:

Reporting directly into the Managing Director, so excellent senior stakeholder endorsement
Opportunity to develop the role and desk as you see fit and influence at a senior level
Key interface with existing suppliers
Identifying, sourcing and negotiating terms with new suppliers
Internal stakeholder management including sales and warehousing
Entirely autonomous ownership of your own profit centre and P&L
Attending trade fairs with suppliers and building relationships

Prior and demonstrable experience of working with suppliers in a fast-paced environment to secure best pricing
