Senior Category Manager - Software
London or Leeds locations (Hybrid 3 days in office)
Salary to £90,000 plus strong benefit package

Grafton Recruitment are working with a large international client to appoint a senior procurement professional with experience in leading software categories. This is an exciting newly created role with a dynamic and growing organisation.

This role will take responsibility for:
- Leading strategy around the software categories internationally.
- Working as a subject matter expert on software for the procurement team.
- Leading and developing strategy around the supplier portfolio.
- Developing and leading high value and complex negotiations for the category internationally.
- You will lead the relationship with suppliers and manage their performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of managing procurement for IT based categories (ideally software focased).
- Development and implementation of category strategy.
- Strong track record of internal and external relationship management.
- Entrepreneurial, with strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Consultative approach, and able to take a client facing role.
