We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our existing team at Steeper, Leeds.

The Role:

We currently have a vacancy for a motivated team player to join our company as a Quality Assurance Officer working within our orthotics department in Leeds.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of quality products from our Orthotics department to our customers.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

In this role you will ensure any complaints and non-conformances are dealt with in a timely manner whilst identifying and preventing issues and improving the end quality to the customer.

In addition, you will:

  • Record Non-Conformance and Customer Complaint reports and ensure they are completed and processed in line with current procedures, enabling timely feedback to relevant department.
  • Sample 3rd party products as and when required.
  • Build positive relationships with internal departments to facilitate open communication.
  • Report back to relevant departments on quality issues and work with other teams on corrective and preventative actions.
  • Provide feedback to external customers on quality performance and complaints as required.
  • Audit and inspect internal processes and production on a regular and rolling basis.

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced with ERP (X3) system.
  • Experienced with customer complaints.
  • QMS ISO9001 knowledge is desirable
  • Experience in evidenced based decision making.
  • Strong data input and analysis.
