Our client is a Leeds based with Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Building Surveying as their core business. They have grown steadily in size and reputation over the past 5 years and have a team of 30 staff who are involved in delivering projects ranging in value from £50K to £250 million.
Due to an increase in their work load they are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors or an Associate Director to join their company and take a lead role on some key projects.
They work on projects across a variety of sectors to include:
- Residential
- Commercial & Office
- Retail
- Hotel & Leisure
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets.
- Lead and manage project teams
- Administer contracts and manage tender processes.
- Conduct risk management and value engineering assessments.
- Monitor and report on project costs and progress.
- Provide expert advice on cost management and procurement strategies.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
