A well-respected, global real estate consultancy are looking for a Principal or Associate Heritage Consultant to join their team in Leeds. They advise on a full range of planning processes across built heritage and archaeology and you would be joining and developing a growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and analysing built heritage issues to inform planning strategies
- Producing heritage assessments and statements of significance
- Appearing as an expert witness at public enquiries
- Engagement with local planning authorities and other consultees throughout the pre-application and application process
Requirements:
- Specialism in built heritage
- Demonstrable experience in EIA and Environmental Scoping
- Understanding of laws and legislations relating to heritage and the planning process
