A well-established independent estate agency in Leeds City Centre is seeking a Property Manager to join their dynamic team. If you are someone with strong communication and a desire to start a career in Property, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As Property Manager, you'll be the key point of contact for both landlords and tenants, ensuring properties are professionally managed from initial letting through to deposit return. This diverse role combines both office and field-based work, requiring excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties, conducting regular inspections and coordinating non-reactive maintenance using property management software
  • Handle the complete tenant lifecycle including move-ins, periodic inspections, maintenance coordination, and end-of-tenancy processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensure all property documentation and database records are accurately maintained and updated
  • Manage contractor relationships and oversee maintenance works to ensure quality and value for money

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • No property working experience, but an interest and desire to establish a career in property with a desire to learn and grow with the business. You will need a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience (post-education)
  • Any experience in a similar role involving; customer service, recruitment, administration, B2B communication
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner - not afraid to pick up the phone!
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5:30pm
  • 1 in 2 Saturdays and some bank holiday working required on a rota basis (9am - 4pm)
