We are recruiting for Residential Property manager a to join the family-run team. You will have the ability and experience to focus on high standards and deliver results.
Our client manages a portfolio of 100+ properties, more than 300 tenants, including national and independent tenants, primarily located in market towns across Yorkshire.
This is a varied role working within a small team giving the opportunity to be involved in different aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- liaising with agents and agreeing lets, protecting deposits, issuing correct documentation to comply with current legislation, preparing and sending introduction letters, prescribed Information documents, etc.
- Using our in- house CRM and property management systems.
- Manage day to day tenant queries.
- Managing the end of tenancy procedure
- Dealing with renewals, rent increases and ensuring legal compliance is observed.
- Overseeing and monitoring health and safety compliance.
- Assisting maintenance team when required in arranging necessary property repairs, liaising with contractors and tenants and issuing/receipt of keys, all within set timescales.
- Conducting inspections throughout the tenancy
- Updating council tax and utility suppliers with change of tenancy details and arrange final bills for the landlord for the void period.
- Flexibility to perform other related duties as required to meet business needs.
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced in managing a residential property portfolio
- Understand the legal documentation required to be served, at what time and the legalities associated with this.
- Commitment to providing excellent service, resolving tenant and landlord concerns professionally, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Flexible approach and be able to work well both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Full driving licence with access to a fully insured car - business mileage paid.
