We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Manager with expertise in Asset Management and a deep understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Assets to lead large-scale programmes in a client-facing capacity. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex programmes, ensuring robust governance, and managing high-level stakeholders effectively. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional organisational skills, technical knowledge of asset management, and the ability to drive value through best practices and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Leadership: Plan, lead, and deliver large-scale asset management programmes, ensuring objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary client interface, building trust and maintaining strong relationships throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Governance & Reporting: Develop and maintain governance structures, producing accurate, insightful reports for stakeholders and ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving conflicts to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, implementing effective solutions for emerging issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance programme efficiency and outcomes.
  • Resource Management: Manage teams effectively, aligning resources to programme priorities and fostering a high-performance culture.

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex programmes, preferably within asset management or infrastructure sectors.
  • Expertise in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Assets, including maintenance, lifecycle management, and performance optimisation.
  • Strong background in governance frameworks, with excellent reporting and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a client-facing role, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making within dynamic environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of project/programme management tools and methodologies (e.g., MSP, Prince2, or Agile).
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders across diverse disciplines.
  • Skilled in navigating complex organisational structures and ensuring alignment between multiple stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of asset management standards (e.g., ISO 55000).
  • Experience with digital tools and technologies for asset management (e.g., CAFM systems & asset data collection software)
