My client is a leading organisation currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager possessing both commercial acumen & practical awareness for the Flat Roof Leak Detection Division, ideally suited to someone already involved in roofing &/or construction waterproofing.
Reporting direct to the Projects Director, and working alongside other support divisions.
you will be responsible for identifying ELD integrity testing opportunities across the UK, approaching clients which will include systems manufacturers, facilities management companies, specialist applicators and structural design engineers, with the aim of being placed on their subcontractor network.
Supported by the marketing department, a great number of project leads are sourced on-line, further enquiries are created by industry exhibitions and trade journal editorials - the successful applicant will know how to leverage these leads to benefit, meet with prospective clients and be confident in obtaining a start date.
This is a full-time role operating across the whole of the UK, so you will need to be flexible regarding remote work.
Qualifications, beneficial but not essential
* Roofing NVQ2 or Level 2 Diploma in Roofing Occupations
* CSSW is advantageous
* Knowledge of roofing manufacturers own membranes, application and integrity testing training
* NFRC
* CSCS Blue Card
* General IT & MS Package Skills
* Most importantly, a proven history within the UK waterproofing industry
