Are you looking for a Business Development Manager role where you can earn uncapped commission and be part of a very successful and growing company? Do you have previous B2B experience and ability to form strong relationships with your clients?

We are partnering with an incredibly successful and fast-growing events and communications agency based in Leeds who are looking to expand their Business Development team. As Business Development Manager you will be working in a team and be responsible for selling sponsorship and advertising opportunities for clients across their market-leading online platform and events.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing existing clients and proactively looking for new business opportunities
  • Researching potential clients and building long lasting relationships
  • Develop a business development plan and manage its implementation
  • Leading on the development of sales around their events and advertising services
  • Develop successful customer relationships
  • Develop an in-depth sector expertise and keep abreast of any market changes
  • Attend industry events as required

The successful Business Development Manager will ideally have previous consultative sales experience and be able to manage the whole sales process from researching prospective clients through to closing the sales. You will also have:

  • Experience working in a consultative sales role, managing the whole sales process from lead generation to closing the sale.
  • Professional approach to work always demonstrating the highest integrity
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise workload
  • Experience of implementing business development activities
  • Experience of lead generation
  • Experience of producing sales proposals
  • Proven success in gaining new business
