A reputable company in Headingley, Leeds is seeking a senior accounts assistant for a full-time, permanent position.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and an AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
Key responsibilities include bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and assisting with VAT returns and month-end duties.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 per year along with benefits such as 25 days holiday, free on-site parking, and study support for AAT candidates.
Working hours are 37.5 per week, with an early finish on Fridays.

We are pleased to be supporting an excellent, reputable company based in Headingley, Leeds who are looking for a senior accounts assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is a varied accounts role, reporting into the financial director with support from two other finance members.

Duties will include;

Bank reconciliations
Credit card reconciliations
Weekly payroll - full training to be provided
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Matching and coding invoices
Reconcile the petty cash
Assisting with quarterly VAT returns
Weekly payment runs
Assisting with month end duties including accruals, month end reporting and more.
Other ad-hoc duties reporting into the financial director.

Skills:

Minimum AAT Level 3 qualification (essential) or equivalent dependent on experience
A minimum Grade C GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
