With a focus on innovation and excellence in all they do, we're looking for a dedicated Fire & Emergency Lighting Systems Technician to join our clients expanding team

Role Overview:
As a Fire & Emergency Lighting Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' premises comply with safety standards and regulations while maintaining optimal performance of their fire and emergency systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in various commercial and residential properties.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine system requirements and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in existing fire and emergency lighting systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits, inspections, and system performance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, with a strong electrical bias.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) and experience in electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within Leeds, Bradford, York Way region.
