Senior Technical Services Manager FM - West Yorkshire but with National Travel. Salary c68k. (NOT an IT role. )

A well respected FM services provider requires a Technical Services Manager, working across their high profile clients contract. Covering a mixture of manufacturing, distribution and corporate sites nationally, you will be responsible for providing assurance of contractual and statutory compliance, identifying areas of technical risk, and ensuring these are highlighted and solutions sought and train our staff in compliance management best practices.

Ensuring defined policy and procedures are adopted by the business, to evidence compliance with all engineering standards including Legislation, ACOP, British, European and International Standards and industry best practice including SFG20.

Manage and oversee external sub-contractors and professionals following company contractor management processes

To always observe statutory and other relevant requirements, in particular those relating to the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH Regulations and Electrical IEE regulations, PSSR and H&S Guidance notes.

Produce technical reports and evidence as required for assurance and auditing.

Demonstrate a high degree of expertise and personal integrity in order to give assurances that the audit process is fair and balanced.

  • Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeship
  • HNC/ONC/C&G or equivalent in relevant mechanical/electrical/building engineering discipline.
  • Proven management experience of Hard FM teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SFG Specifications, British Standards.
  • Good knowledge of general compliance in Facilities Management.
