Venn Group have been approached by a Support Organisation and would like to introduce the following position available
Position: Complex Support Worker
Location: Leeds
Rate: £17.00 per hour (Umbrella Rate)
Length: 8-12 weeks
Hours: Estimated 37.5 hours p/week, Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities include:
- To be part of the First Contact Team that offers immediate support and direction to young people entering the service
- Provide a meet and greet service for service users
- Direct service users to relevant counsellors that can offer therapeutic and counselling services
- Keep records up to date of young people entering the service
- General Reception and Admin duties
- Diffusing outbursts from young people suffering with complex needs
- Signposting to counsellors and supporting with initial referrals
- Uphold essential safeguarding
- Advocate for adolescents and their families to ensure access to appropriate services, including housing and mental health resources
- To be considered for this role you will need to have an Enhanced DBS
