Venn Group have been approached by a Support Organisation and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:         Complex Support Worker 

Location:         Leeds

Rate:               £17.00 per hour (Umbrella Rate)

Length:            8-12 weeks

Hours:             Estimated 37.5 hours p/week, Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To be part of the First Contact Team that offers immediate support and direction to young people entering the service
  • Provide a meet and greet service for service users
  • Direct service users to relevant counsellors that can offer therapeutic and counselling services
  • Keep records up to date of young people entering the service
  • General Reception and Admin duties
  • Diffusing outbursts from young people suffering with complex needs
  • Signposting to counsellors and supporting with initial referrals
  • Uphold essential safeguarding
  • Advocate for adolescents and their families to ensure access to appropriate services, including housing and mental health resources
  • To be considered for this role you will need to have an Enhanced DBS
