Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

Salary: 90-100 per day
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive inner-city primary school in Leeds. This full-time, permanent position involves supporting the class teacher in Year 5/6, with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with the planning and delivery of the curriculum.
- Help deliver engaging and interactive lessons, especially in Maths and English.
- Support pupils to reach their full potential by providing tailored assistance.
- Ensure students remain on track with their learning while making the classroom environment fun and engaging.
- Support with behaviour management, creating a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Provide additional help to students who may need extra support in their learning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school setting is ideal.
- A passion for supporting children in their educational journey.
- Strong academic capabilities, particularly in Maths and English.
- Confident in supporting children with their learning needs.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain an engaging environment.
