We are looking for a bubbly, nurturing, and enthusiastic individual to join our team of Supply Early Years Practitioners across Leeds, Wetherby, and Harrogate. About the Role:
As a Supply Early Years Practitioner, you'll be responsible for supporting children aged 0-5 years across a variety of early years settings. Your role will involve working with different teams in busy settings, helping them deliver high-quality care and education. You'll be expected to step in and make an impact quickly, using your experience and knowledge to support children's development and contribute to the smooth running of each setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Children's Learning & Development: Assist in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for children aged 0-5, in line with the EYFS framework.
- Work Across Multiple Settings: Be flexible and adapt to different environments, supporting teams across various settings throughout the week.
- Safeguarding & Well-being: Ensure the safety, well-being, and welfare of all children in your care, adhering to up-to-date safeguarding policies.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work as part of a team of Early Years professionals to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Nurture and Care: Provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere in every setting.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience: You must have experience working with children in Early Years settings, preferably with children aged 0-5 years.
- Qualifications: While we welcome unqualified but experienced candidates, you should have at least Level 2 or 3 in Childcare (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of the EYFS: A sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how to implement it.
- Passion for Early Years: A genuine passion for working with young children, ensuring that they are at the heart of everything you do.
- Safeguarding & First Aid: Ideally, you will be First Aid trained and have up-to-date safeguarding training.
- Bubbly & Nurturing Personality: A friendly, approachable, and nurturing attitude with a natural ability to build relationships with children and staff.
