SEN Support Assistants to support pupils with Autism

Leeds SEN School (LS9)

Full-time / temporary to permanent contract

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for several Autism Support Assistants for a SEN School located in Leeds. The school are looking for Support Assistants who can support students in the centre who live with multiple learning needs. The school are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals with a background in working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs. This is an Inclusive Learning Centre which caters for students across the Secondary age range.

We are seeking candidates who are available to start ASAP and who have a real passion and drive to support students with additional needs and who is motivated to make a difference.

Successful applications will have:

  • At least 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Previous professional or personal experience with Special Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
