NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a Special Needs Educational Teaching Assistant for an SEN School located in Leeds. The school are looking for a ETA who can support students in the school who live with multiple learning needs. The school are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals with a background in working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs. This is SEN school caters for children from the ages of 4-16 who live with; Autism, ADHD, Complex needs and Cognitive / Global delay.

Many learners in this school are non-verbal and require personal care so experience of this is required.

We are seeking candidates who are available to start as soon as possible after the half-term break and who have a real passion and drive to support students with additional needs and who is motivated to make a difference.

Successful applications will have:

  • Level 3 Qualification or relevant qualifications
  • Previous professional or personal experience with Special Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
