SEN Teaching Assistant

Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire are partnered with a specialist school based in Leeds who are looking for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to join them as they are expanding in September. These roles can start either immediately or in September.

Job Title Responsibilities

• Support learners with multiple and complex learning difficulties
• Work with the class teacher to ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Manage behaviour through a variety of techniques and strategies
• Personal care may be required

Job Title Requirements

• Experience working with young people with a range of needs
• Positive behaviour management strategies
• Worked within a specialist or mainstream school setting or have transferrable skills from an alternative industry
• Up to date safeguarding training
