Who are committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for students with autism and other special educational needs. Their dedicated team works collaboratively to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team full-time. The successful candidate will work closely with students with autism and other special educational needs, providing tailored support to enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Implement strategies to manage and support challenging behaviors
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable)
