Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team full-time. The successful candidate will work closely with students with autism and other special educational needs, providing tailored support to enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized education programs (IEPs)
Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
Implement strategies to manage and support challenging behaviors
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism
A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable)
