NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of an inclusion based in West Leeds which caters for KS4 pupils. The staff have high expectations of all students and are experienced and knowledgeable to ensure that all students grow into developed, independent and confident young people. This provision is catered to pupils aged 16 - 19, who need supporting and directing into adult life. The moto within this provision is 'learning to live' and 'learning to earn'. The classrooms are based on ability, not age, to ensure that each pupil has their own learning plan to meet each particular need.
The requirements for a Behaviour Intervention Teacher are:
- Knowledge and experience working with children or Young people with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- The right to work the the UK
- Two professional references
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
