Early Years SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher at a SEN School based in Central Leeds (LS9) who is interested in a full-time permanent contract starting from January 2025. This is a SEN School that caters for pupils who with Neurodiversity and will be supporting pupils with and Early Years based curriculum.

If you have a passion and experience teaching and supporting Early Years pupils and would like to teach in a Neurodiverse school then this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in to children

- Manage classroom activities effectively

- Communicate with parents regarding children's progress and well-being

- Drive continuous improvement in teaching methods and an EYFS/SEN curriculum

- Provide leadership and guidance to support staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience
  • Experience teaching SEN pupils
  • Experience teaching EYFS children
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability from September 2024
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
