Job Title: Inclusion Learning Support Assistant
Location: Primary School, Leeds
Salary: 85 - 100 per day
Hours: 6.5 hours per day, 5 days a week
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long Term/Permanent Opportunities or Fixed Term Contracts (until the end of the academic year)

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and helping them reintegrate into the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children with SEND, helping them to engage fully in classroom activities.
  • Assist teachers with planning and delivering tailored interventions.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment to support the emotional and educational development of pupils.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting to relevant staff members.
  • Collaborate with other professionals (teachers, SENCOs, support staff) to ensure the best outcomes for the children.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working in a school or with children with SEND is highly desirable.
  • A passion for supporting young people with SEND.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and show flexibility when required.
  • Positive, patient, and committed to making a difference in the lives of children.
