Best in Class is working alongside a school in the LS6 area of Leeds, looking to recruit a dedicatedSEN Support Assistantto join their team on a long-term, full-time basis starting from October half-term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist with deliveringintimate careas required
  • Support the learning and development of pupils with additional needs
  • Carry out general Teaching Assistant duties within the classroom, supporting the wider school team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in an educational setting
  • Understanding of SEN-specific strategies and approaches
