Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire are supporting a leading alternative provision in Leeds who are growing their team in September and are looking for a new specialist teacher to join them.

This could suit a secondary subject teacher or a primary trained teacher. Ideally you will have experience supporting learners within a specialist environment however the school are open to mainstream teachers looking for a move into a specialist setting.

This is a permanent appointment.

Job Title Responsibilities

• Deliver fun and engaging lessons to learners with SEMH, Autism and other complex learning needs
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Manage and support behaviour mentors, teaching assistants and other support staff across school
• Support the SLT and wider school community

Job Title Requirements

• PGCE with QTS
• Experience delivering lessons to learners with SEN
• Full time availability from September
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
