This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is looking to grow and develop within supply chain. Supply Chain Administrator Benefits:

Responsibilities for a Supply Chain Administrator (but not limited to)

  • Producing weekly customer sales reports on Excel using VLookups and Pivot Tables by downloading data from customer websites and our system.
  • Analysing these sales reports to see trends and any potential issues that could occur in the future.
  • Produce customer forecast reports to upload and use on our order and forecasting system.
  • Upload stock information for customers onto their internet system.
  • Raise new PO's on the system to send to our China office and suppliers.
  • Raise balance PO's when orders have not been shipped in full from our suppliers.
  • Check all PO's have shipped on time and if dates are in the past follow up to resolve any issues.
  • Weekly PO date changes.
  • Reviewing the weekly date changes to check for any issues.
  • Reviewing orders previously placed to see if any need to ship earlier due to potential out of stocks.
  • Reviewing orders previously placed to see if any need to be delayed due to overstocks. Look into reasons why to share information with the relevant people.
  • Review and resolve MOQ queries from suppliers.
  • PO amendments. (Updating order volumes, cost prices etc where needed)
  • System maintenance. (Deleting lines when advised, lead times etc)
  • Communicating the arrival of new products each week.
  • Creating reworks were needed to keep customers in stock and tracking these until completed and stock made available on the system.
  • Organise collections from suppliers.
  • Check UK/EU orders are arriving on time and track through until stock is booked onto the system.
  • Working with our China office to resolve any order queries they have that need to be addressed quickly for the orders to ship on time.

Hours of Work:

Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm Supply Chain Administrator Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communications Skills are essential for this role
  • Numerate with the ability to work to budgets and understand sales figures
  • The ability to fully utilise Microsoft Office (especially Excel with experience using V Look ups and pivot table )
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Strong organisational & time management skills
  • The ability to cope with the pressure of fast-paced work
  • The ability to process stock purchase orders right through from placement to them being receipted by the warehouse in the UK
