Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Client in South Leeds. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of supplier deliveries, purchase order management, and supporting production planning processes. For the right candidate, there is potential to develop into a Production Planner role.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Book in supplier deliveries and ensure accurate scheduling.
    • Chase suppliers to confirm and expedite deliveries as needed.
    • Create purchase orders for direct and indirect materials.
    • Input and manage system data for purchased and manufactured parts.
    • Expedite daily production orders to ensure timely fulfilment.
    • Update and maintain daily production planning reports.
    • Generate and issue production orders to support manufacturing operations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems for data entry and reporting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
