Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire. Salary / Benefits £24k - £40k + Training + BenefitsA nationally recognised and multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy is currently recruiting in the Yorkshire / Midlands region for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be undertaking the full range of surveying and analytical duties across Local Authority, Public Sector and Commercial sites. Due to the nature of the role, our client would consider candidates who are dual qualified or hold the P402 and / or P403 / P404. Candidates will have good access to the Yorkshire / Midlands and surrounding areas: Bradford, Keighley, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Castleford, Garforth, Pontefract, Barnsley, Mexborough, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop, Chesterfield, Retford, Mansfield, Matlock, Nottingham, Derby, Nottingham, Beeston, Long Eaton, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray , Leicester, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Market Harborough, Rugby, Tamworth, Litchfield, Walsall, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry , Royal Leamington Spa, Daventry, Ludlow, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton. Experience & Qualifications: " Holding the BOHS P402 / P403 / P404 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role. " Excellent knowledge of industry relevant Health and Safety Guidelines e.g. HSG 264 / HSG 248. " Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems. " Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with colleagues and clients efficiently. The Role:" Carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys. " Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines. " Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs on site, ensuring to bag safely and label correctly prior to sending for analysis. " Conducting 4 stage clearances. " Undertaking smoke, leak, re-occupation, Background and personal air testing, " Undertaking audits of contractors on site. " Working in line with HSG 248 guidelines. " Completing detailed reports based on site findings using TEAMS / TRACKER systems. " Liaising with clients, continuing to build and maintain excellent professional relationship.
