2nd Line Support Engineer

Location:Leeds

A well-established company is looking for a motivated2nd Line Support Engineerto join its IT department. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing IT support, maintaining critical systems, and assisting with IT projects.

Responsibilities:

  • End-user technical support

  • Azure AD

  • Backup & asset management
  • Hardware builds & configurations (PCs, laptops, mobiledevices)
  • Network, telephony & VPN configuration
  • Printer maintenance & support
  • Assisting the IT team with projects
  • Monitoring & maintaining system security (AV, malware, wireless networks)
  • Occasional out-of-hours & remote site support across Yorkshire

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for IT and a willingness to learn

Desirable experience with (but not essential): Unifi Phone Systems, HP/Cisco Switches, Meraki Wi-Fi, Hyper-V, Bitdefender, Datalogic Scanners.
