A leading Engineering Consultancy in Yorkshire is seeking a Senior/Principal Transport Planner to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in street/traffic engineering and transport assessments.
The position offers a salary range of £45k - £50k base salary, along with a car allowance.
Hybrid working is available, with the office located in West Yorkshire, accessible from several nearby cities.
Candidates with experience in transport modelling packages like ARCADY, PICADY, and AutoCAD will be preferred.

We are looking for someone at a senior level with experience of street / traffic engineering together with a solid understanding of transport assessments and travel plan reports.

Location: Hybrid working is in place, Office is in West Yorkshire – commutable from Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Barnsley, Bradford, Doncaster, Rotheram

What you will bring to the table:

You are an experienced Transport Planner who is looking to step into a Principal role. You will ideally have experience working in an Engineering Consultancy as a Transport Planner, working as part of a highways team. Experience preparing transport assessments and travel plan reports. You will have been heavily involved in transport scheme design guidance and advice including DMRB and MfS. You will have experience of any of the following transport modelling packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSING and TRICS, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTrack. Any experience of SATURN or VISUM software would definitely be an advantage.
